Meet the People Behind Bees for Hope

Laurent Marais
Founder of Bees for Hope
Laurent, is a business man with an entrepreneurial mindset combined with the determination and drive to make a difference to humans whilst preserving the planet. Laurent is the founder, the main driver behind Bees For Hope and part of the board of Bees For Hope. He brings with him a Master in Law and political science and more than 25 years of experience from sales, cross multiple countries. Laurent has a long lasting love for Argentina, he has been living in the country for a few years, which makes the connection to the beekeeping communities and our local partners easy and natural.
Pierre Laburte
CEO of Bees for Hope
Pierre, is a business man with a wide business experience from multiple organizations. After his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pierre worked for a major international pharma company in the field of Quality Control, Production, Materials Management and plant management for more than 20 years. He has furthermore worked as a General Manager of a service provider company so he has a great business sense cross the filed. Now retired, Pierre has very enthusiastically joined the Bees for Hope project as a volunteer and is the CEO of the company and part of the board for Bees For Hope.
Tessi Romell
Communications and Marketing Strategy
Tessi is a business woman who brings with her a master in psychology and a wide experience from multiple businesses and countries. After her studies she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 14 years, before joining the FMCG industry 7 years ago. She started her career within Human Resources, and is now holding a General Manager position in the Nordics. Tessi loves to see businesses grow and develop through the growth of people. Tessi supports Bees For Hope on a voluntarily basis, she is part of the board of Bees For Hope, she handles our marketing and communication and is the project’s main photographer.
Bees For Hope has been and is supported by great people around the world, people who believes in the project and wants to contribute to make a difference to the beekeeping communities, the bees and our planet. We wish to express our gratitude to Emma, Molly and Stefan in the US for supporting us with our webpage and the way we tell our story. We want to thank Catherine in France for the design of our Bees For Hope logo, and Emmanuel in Israel for supporting us with online capabilities. We also want to express a thank you our student workers Ludi and Gabrielle who has contributed to our journey and lastly to all of you, our followers and supporters.
